CleanSpace Appoints Andrew Hogan as Director of Project Execution, Expanding into Europe

CleanSpace has appointed Andrew Hogan, B.Eng., PMP, as Director of Project Execution, strengthening the company’s leadership and delivery capabilities as it continues to expand across the United Kingdom and European markets.

Andrew brings more than 18 years of international experience spanning project management, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and project execution. He has worked across Ireland, continental Europe, Japan, the Middle East, and South America, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects within diverse technical, regulatory, and cultural environments.

His appointment forms part of CleanSpace’s continued modernisation of project delivery. As clients seek greater continuity between design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness, Andrew will help provide the leadership, governance, and coordination required to support this integrated approach across European projects.

“The strength of project execution is determined by the quality of leadership behind it,” said Glenn VandeGrift, President of CleanSpace. “Andrew has the experience to lead across disciplines, bring clarity to complex decisions, and establish accountability from the earliest stages of a project. His appointment reflects our commitment to building an exceptional European leadership team capable of delivering at the level our clients and their investments demand.”

Before joining CleanSpace, Andrew served as Director of Project Management with responsibility for project execution and manufacturing operations supporting the delivery of modular cleanroom solutions. He worked across project management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and external contracting teams to ensure projects were appropriately resourced and delivered in accordance with contractual, quality, programme, and operational requirements.

His responsibilities included resource planning, production scheduling, constructability reviews, financial reporting, project oversight, and the development and mentoring of Project Managers.

Andrew’s earlier career includes senior engineering and construction leadership roles on major international projects, including the Sidra Medical Research Centre in Qatar, King Abdullah Port in Saudi Arabia, New Doha International Airport, and the FCCU Turnaround Project in Colombia. His experience encompasses mechanical completion, construction management, subcontractor management, project controls, quality assurance, commissioning coordination, resource planning, and engagement with clients, consultants, and delivery teams. A Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Limerick, Andrew has held the Project Management Professional accreditation since 2015.

“Our growth in Europe is being guided by client demand and by a clear shift towards more integrated, accountable forms of project delivery,” said George Wiker, CEO of CleanSpace. “Andrew understands the European market, the expectations of its clients, and the level of senior engagement required to move complex projects forward. He will play an important role in translating our modern delivery model into disciplined execution that respects local and EU requirements while providing consistency, certainty, and technical expertise.”

In his new role, Andrew will be responsible for execution of project governance across CleanSpace’s European portfolio. He will lead coordination between project teams and technical functions, support client engagement at a senior level, and help ensure that project decisions remain aligned with quality, compliance, programme, commercial, and operational objectives.

The appointment reflects CleanSpace’s measured expansion in response to client activity across the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as its continued investment in the leadership and technical capabilities required to support complex projects within technical markets.
